Cousin Kole's Birthday!!

The night started out with silly string!! Lots and lots of silly string!! Kade and Kole had a blast spraying everyone, and mostly each other.

Alie Jo on the tricycle. I especially love the purple cowgirl boots!!
Erika, Sophie, and Papa
Birthday Boy, Gramy, and Kade
Gramy pushing the girls on the swings
Kade & Kole climbing on the biggest, coolest old tree
Me, Parke, Steph, Soph, & Erika following me getting stung on the back of the neck by a hornet. Not fun. Fortunately it got me and not Parker who was right there. Unfortunately, another one got Yup, you guessed it...the BIRTHDAY BOY!! What a bummer, but he was very tough.
Kole blowing out his birthday candles. Yes, that is a bat on top of his cupcake. Awesome.
Parker and Daddy. Both SO handsome. Shortly after being stung on the neck I looked down to find poop all over the front of my shirt. Poor Parke had a major blow out. Luckily, Erika had a clean diaper and wipes, and we had this nifty little "Surfer Dude" t-shirt. This was not the first time that t-shirt had come to our rescue. We had a similar experience with Kade in Hawaii when he was a baby!
After we got all settled down from all of the excitement things really started to look up. We had a great night, and the kids had an absolute blast!! They spent a lot of time eating cupcakes. Yay for frosting-my favorite!
The boys playing tether ball. Goofy boys.
The girls riding bikes. Silly girls.
And Parker just being hims precious self.
Happy Birthday Kole-man!! You are the coolest kid in the world, and the greatest cousin ever! We love you and hope you had a great #5!!

First Day of School

For all of you on-the-ball mom's who posted your kids' "first day of school" pictures weeks ago- YES, I am just getting to mine. This was Kaden's first day of school. Such a handsome little specimen. He was VERY excited to get back to school, and I have been loving getting back into a routine. Summer is so fun-yet so chaotic and exhausting!
(wanted to get one on the porch-but the sun was blinding him and every picture he had his eyes closed) This works...
Kaden and his good friend Stockton
Looking forward to another fun year!!

Labor Day Weekend

Okay, I am really getting behind with my posting. We've had a lot to post about, and not enough time in the day to get it done. Anyways, it was yet another great weekend up in Bear Lake. We spent the weekend at Sparrow's cabin, and it was SO much fun to have everyone-including Zac-up there. I got to the beach Saturday morning, snapped a few pics, and YUP-my camera died...uuurgghh...so as soon as I get more pics from our family I will add them in. There are some cute ones at the beach though, Kaden, Kole, & Rylie rode over there in the car with us. As soon as we let them out of the car they immediately began RUNNING all over the beach!! It was AWESOME! I wish I had that much energy...they LOVE the beach! I finally got Ry to stop long enough to snap her picture, and then OFF she went again!
Kaden digging into the sand...it is amazing the places that sand ends up...it is SUCH great fun until you are cleaning it out of every crevice of their cute little bodies! ha ha
Steph, Parke, Gramy, Ty, and Ry-bug
Papa & Alie Jo
Me & Kade-man
Papa Bob, Rylie, Papa Ben, & Alie on the Rhino cruisin' the beach!
The BIG boys had a blast playing frisbee on the beach (I'll post those pictures later)! We had such a FUN weekend, Thanks Gramy & Papa!!

Back to School Night

Kaden at "Back to School" night...
(nice shadow in the background mom)
He has been very excited to start school again. This year he will be at "Inch by Inch" preschool with Miss Megan! It is right down the street, which makes it SO nice for me. Kade is pumped to have so many of his friends in class with him this year!!

This picture makes my heart happy...

Thanks Rob for snapping this one, I love it!!

Oh, What Fun...

The other day the kids had their good friends Stockton and Ky over to play. They decided it would be fun to have a pretend Halloween party. So we dug into the costumes and everyone was decked from head to toe in their new identities.
Here is Ky the "Fireman," Kade "Batman," Rylie "Spider-girl," and Stockton the "Mutant Ninja Turtle!"
What a fun Halloween party it was!! How great it is to have good friends!!

Welcome Home Zac!!

Uncle Zac returned home Friday, August 22nd from his mission in Paraguay. We were all SO excited to see "The Judge" again!! We hadn't seen his cute face in 2 years, and he looked exactly the same (maybe a little older and more handsome). His mission was spanish speaking, and he came home with the cutest accent. It is very fun to listen to him speak!!
Here is me, Kaden, and Zac. We weren't able to get a picture with the whole family due to my tardiness in arriving at the airport. :( I ran into the WORST traffic jam on the freeway!!! So upon my arrival, Nic had to wait in the car with Rylie and Parker while I ran in with Kade to see Zac. With all the excitement and frustration that had built up I finally burst into tears-way to go Sherice!!
Kaden was really excited to see Zac.
The four brothers together again!!
Zac came home to two new additions, Sophie & Parker. Here is Zac meeting Parker for the first time!! Funny thing, Zac was almost named Parker back in the day!! After the airport we went up to Gramy & Papa's house to have pizza and hang out as a family. Stephanie, Ty, and Parker. They are about to have a baby boy of their own in a couple months, and we are getting so excited to meet him!!
Rylie & Alie jumping on the tramp!! I think Rylie is on a very important phone call. These girls LOVE to get their cell phones, put on their jewelry, push their babies in the strollers, and walk around in high heels together- it is so cute, and so funny how girly they are!!
Bestest Buddies- Kade & Kole!! I remember when Zac left they were 3 years old and we would say, "When Zac gets home they will be 5!!" It seemed like that day was so far off, and they would never be that old-but here we are, and it makes me sad they are growing up so fast.
Gramy was so happy to have her boy home. It was the last time she had to go through that, and it was an emotional day for her. I don't know how she and Ben did it four times. I dread the day my boys leave me. It doesn't matter how big they get, they are always your babies. Well it was a great day, and we all had so much fun being together as a WHOLE family again!!

WELCOME HOME ZAC!! WE ALL LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!
