Daddy Love

On father's day we like to make our daddy feel extra special, because that is exactly what he is. He got called in to work and was gone for the morning, so we went to work making his favorite~ ebleskivers and buttermilk syrup...
Fresh cut roses from the garden~ I love this time of year:)
When he got home he was pleasantly surprised, and the kids were so happy to see him.
Nothing better than breakfast with daddy...
And then a few gifts were in order~
We sure love this daddy~one
And my favorite father's day quote:
I am so grateful for Nic and the sweet daddy that he is. For working so hard to provide for his family, and always putting family at the top of the list. We couldn't love him more. I also have to send some father's day love to my darling Dad, and father~in~law Ben. They are truly the best in the west, and I am so grateful for all they are to us.

Summer Kick~off

Last day of school fun~
Water kick~ball anyone?
Kade had an absolute blast with his buddies~
Kade and his buddy Davis~
Checkin' out the yearbook... What? Since when do 1st graders get a yearbook? Not sure about this, but Kaden was pretty pumped about it:)
Kade and Kole~ some serious cousin fun! Can't believe these two are going to be baptized this summer. Seems like only yesterday they were toddling around, barely talking,
but they have always been this close...
Parker and Uncle Judge
And I love this picture. The boys fresh back from the batting cages.
They have so much fun together~ great idea Papa!
Love this boy~
I'd say it's been a pretty good start to our summer~
nothin' better than being outside, enjoying some warm summer days:)

Go Phillie's!

I have to say, baseball is flippin' adorable to watch. Kaden had so much fun with it, and improved by leaps and bounds. There were some chilly nights, but all in all it was a great season! Our little man~ up to bat...
Does it get much better than this? I think not.
Mimi & Papa~
I feel so blessed to watch my children have such fun with their grandparents~
I love the closeness they share.

The Kade~man and his buddy Ty~

Way to go Kade!
Bare feet in the grass, Parker is definitely my child:)
Love this little stink~
And this little stud~muffin...
Pretty much melts my heart~
Lucky dog~ sandwiched between 4 of his biggest fans...
Way to go Kaden~
Proud of you, as always!
Okay, let the summer festivities begin!

Wrappin' up~

I can't believe 1st grade has come and gone for our Kade~man. While wrapping up the end of an awesome school year, Kade and his class put together this dino~rific museum...
We were able to take a family tour~ and had the studliest tour guide I can imagine;)
I am so sad I didn't snatch a picture of Kaden with his darling teacher, Miss Clayton. She was an amazing teacher, and we are sure going to miss her!
Then I whipped up a batch of these pretty little things for a graduation party for our Laurels. I'll give you a hint: there are puréed berries in my buttercream. Top it with a little white chocolate and a fresh raspberry~ oh my.
And they look as sweet as they taste~
A handful of our sweet girls~ I am sure going to miss our seniors, but am so excited for them to embark on new adventures.
The lovely ladies I get to work with~
Good times.
And that's a wrap!

Memorial Weekend

Memorial weekend we were pleasantly surprised with an unexpected getaway to Bear Lake~ one of our most favorite destinations. It was much needed time away with our little family. Jammies, lazy days, good food, late night chatting, Bear Lake pizza, cousin lovin', some serious gamin', chocolate covered raspberries(oh my!), father~son bonding, and beautiful scenery.
It was all things wonderful~

Thanks to Gramy and Papa for allowing us an escape from reality. We had such a fabulous time!
Love you guys!
