Parker is 4 months!!
It is hard to believe 4 months have gone by with our sweet little Parker. He has been such an angel and SO much fun to have in our family. I don't know what it is, but he has stolen our hearts and we just can't get enough of him. Parke is so responsive now. The minute he sees you he gets the BIGGEST grin on his face. He has the cutest laugh, and is very ticklish!! He has started to love reading bed-time stories, and is still a big fan of bath time! I took him to the doc for his 4 month appt. and these were his stats:
Here are some more darling pictures of our BIG Boy!!
Here is a prime example of his smile...his whole face lights up, and you can't help but melt when you see it!!
Length: 26 1/4 in. 90%
Weight: 14.8 lbs. 45%
We have always said he looks so much like his brother and sister, but we got one of Kaden's 4 month pictures out and couldn't believe how much they REALLY looked alike. Of course, we had to dig up the same beanie and take a picture to show the resemblance... and here it is...
This is Kaden...

And this is Parker... funny huh.

Raspberry Days
Well it was another fun weekend up at Bear Lake!! We had a blast just relaxing, playing on the beach, and eating lots of good food!! Rob and Lacey were able to join us, and it was fun getting to know them better. The kids had lots of fun playing in the kiddie pool, building sand castles, and everything in between. One night we had Cafe' Rio salads and Pina Coladas-it was sooo delicious!! Food tastes so much better when you are on vacation! Thanks Mimi & Papa for the fun weekend!!

Memories of Me...
I keep seeing this on people's blogs, and I think it is such a fun idea. Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you have with me or my family. It doesn't matter if you know us a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses...

Fun Weekend
Well once again it was the weekend, and we found ourselves sick and contagious. This time it was my turn. By Saturday morning I was feeling a lot better, but still had the lingering sore throat. We always look forward to the weekends so we can do something fun! It was such a hot day, the kids decided to run through the sprinkler to cool off!!
Kaden, Rylie, and Ashtyn!! Oh, what fun...
Daddy challenged the kids to a game of Candy Land...always a family favorite!! Poor Kaden kept drawing the "gingerbread man" card and would have to go back to the beginning...it was sad, but kind of funny.
Such a handsome guy!!
We were bummed because it was Halli's 1st birthday party, and we thought we better not go and spread germs. So we went down to Trolly Square and ate at the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was so delicious!! It felt good to get out of the house and have a change of scenery.
Okay, so this is our family at Temple Square. As we were driving back down to get on the freeway, the kids kept asking if every building was the temple. We finally told them we would drive them over and show them the Salt Lake Temple. I wanted a picture of our little family with the temple, so I asked this cute missionary if he would be our photographer. Bless his heart...he was trying so hard to get a good picture, and well... let's just say, it's not. But it's a memory for us so I had to put it in.
Kaden and Rylie have been wanting to have a sleepover in Rylie's big girl bed for a while now. We always say, "If you will go to sleep then you can sleep together." After about 15 minutes we usually start hearing the sounds of them playing and jumping on the bed. So we tuck them into their own beds and it never works. Well once again tonight they were asking if they could sleep in sissy's bed, and we went through the routine of explaining they HAD to go to sleep. This was the end result--so darling to see them all snuggled up together. They did it!!And Happy 1st Birthday to our cousin Halli!! We love you!!

Shark Week
So this week is "Shark Week" on the Discovery Channel!! Our family (Kaden in particular) is a big fan. We love the discovery Channel in general, but when "Shark Week" comes on we get extra excited!! Kaden has always loved sea life. When he was just tiny he began talking about whales, sharks, jellyfish, dolphins, fish, etc. So in honor of "Shark Week", here he is geared up in his shark jammies!! He wore them so much this week, he wore a big hole in the knee of his pants. I had to sew it up so that he could keep wearing them. Shark Week couldn't have come at a better time either. We have all been sick this week, so it has kept us all very entertained!! So if you like sharks, turn on the Discovery Channel and watch the last couple days of "Shark Week!!"
