Daddy Love

On father's day we like to make our daddy feel extra special, because that is exactly what he is. He got called in to work and was gone for the morning, so we went to work making his favorite~ ebleskivers and buttermilk syrup...
Fresh cut roses from the garden~ I love this time of year:)
When he got home he was pleasantly surprised, and the kids were so happy to see him.
Nothing better than breakfast with daddy...
And then a few gifts were in order~
We sure love this daddy~one
And my favorite father's day quote:
I am so grateful for Nic and the sweet daddy that he is. For working so hard to provide for his family, and always putting family at the top of the list. We couldn't love him more. I also have to send some father's day love to my darling Dad, and father~in~law Ben. They are truly the best in the west, and I am so grateful for all they are to us.

Father's Day

Since our daddy is the best daddy in the whole world, we decided we better make him feel pretty darn special. So to start the day out right, a little homemade 'breakfast in bed' was in order. We all gathered round him in bed to watch him indulge in his bacon & eggs, and read his hand picked card which read of thoughts of love and promises of a 'shiny new bicycle' {can't wait to go pick it out!} It was a glorious morning... until he threw away the rest of my eggs {man they were tasting so good too}. But I forgave him because after all, it was father's day.

We spent the afternoon with my family and stud-muffin of a dad, which was wonderful. Later, we headed out to spend the remainder of the day with my totally-rad father-in-law Benjamima!

Parker enjoying his very first ice cream cone... de-ricious!!

Nic and Matt... if you look closely you can see the drool creeping from the corner's of Nic's mouth. He wants one of those things SO bad. One day honey... one day.

Nothin' beats a nice ride on the 'hog' to celebrate your day, right? And they ride off into the sunset...

Nic and his daddy
I hope you daddy's in my life all had a wonderful day, because well, you are wonderful- and you deserve it!! Know how much we love and appreciate everything you do for us. What a blessing it is to be surrounded by such great father's. We love you!!
