Family Vacation

It was time for a much needed family vacation, so we packed up the car and headed down south toward Mimi & Papa's house. We hung out in St. George for a couple of days and had a great time with my parents. We swam, relaxed, ate yummy food (including cupcakes from my fav, 25 Main), I ran, Nic & my Dad rode bikes, there was lots of good stuff goin' on...

And then it was time to say goodbye and be on our way to Disneyland...
The next morning we woke up and got ready for a fun-filled day... do the kids look excited? Well let me tell ya, yes.they.were.
Kaden even lost a tooth, and was paid a visit from the tooth fairy. That tricky fairy found us all the way in Anaheim...
Love this...
Our first ride... the jungle cruise! Not the most exciting ride, but something about being back in Disneyland with my fam just put a big old smile right on my face.
Those are three of the cutest boys I've ever seen...
The kids were having so much fun playing ring-around-the-rosie's while we waited for the big boys to get off the Indiana Jones ride... it was pretty darn cute!
Then it was on to my all time favorite ride, Pirates of the Caribbean!! I was in heaven...
The kids loved the Mary-go-round... did I mention it was 112 degrees the first day we were there. If you notice red faces- that would be why. It was unbelievable heat! Crazy!!
With that kind of heat, ice cream was definitely a must! And if you must have ice cream in Disneyland- it must be in the form of Mickey Mouse!!
Toon Town is darling. Here is Kaden showing off his brute strength... tough buddy.
Here we are at Mickey Mouse's house with Minnie and Pluto...
This picture is way blown out, but precious to me... it's moments like those that make you want to pause life and live in that moment forever.
We had dinner at Goofy's Kitchen (as per tradition) and Goofy did not disappoint. Great times were had by all...
I think my boys had a thing for Minnie... I don't blame them, she is a doll!!
The next day we were back at it, with a little less pep in our step, but definitely enough energy left to have another great day!
It was so fun to be there with Candace and Erik & their girls. We all had so much fun together, it was some quality cousin time!
A cowboy Woody made of Lego's. Two of Kaden's favorite things combined- Awesome!! Just a little preview of what we were about to find at Lego land.
Disneyland was magical. There is nothing better than seeing the light in your children's eyes as they witness things they've only seen in movies or books. Characters are brought to real life for them, it is truly joyful! I was sad to see our days in Disneyland come to an end, but was really looking forward to a day of rest.
