Bieber Fever~

The sis took on a little cheer clinic to try her hand at something new. All went well, and she really enjoyed this new avenue. At the end of her clinics, they were able to perform at a high school basketball game~ so exciting! Her amazing grandparents there to cheer her on!~
So I pretty much failed in the picture department. Had my camera on the wrong setting, and 98% of her 'action' shots were a blurry mess! oops~ forgive me love. She did an awesome job out there though, and cheered her little heart out {with a not-so-sure-about-this look on her sweet face;)}
Rylie and her home-girls~ what a sweet bunch of gals...
What a lucky gal to have so many fans;)
After all of that cheering, it was time for a drink. Which led to the finding of this nifty little corner... couldn't resist some monkey business, silly faces, and posing:)
Now this one here, just couldn't get enough of the camera. He kept dragging me back to this spot, and directing me to take more pictures~ man I get a kick out of him!
A shot with Mom and Dad~ so proud of our girl:)
Some Instagram pics from the night. We went home and Parke dug into his bedtime stories~ the boy loves to read! And those who haven't discovered Instagram~ you must! My new favorite tool:)
And this post wouldn't be complete without a few more ski pix, right? It is just too convenient to have my phone up there, and too many memories being made to not snap away;)
Papa and the kiddos~
Have I mentioned how much we adore it up there? Magic, I tell ya.
Oh, and if you are wondering what's with the title of this post?? Check out Rylie's cheer shirt~ Bieber Fever, baby. Pretty sure Ry has NO idea who he is, but it was pretty exciting to jam to his tunes:) Ah, takes me back to the days when I got my very first New Kids on the Block T-shirt. Yep, those were the days...
Happy weekend!

Ry~bug's 6th Birthday

This Ry~bug is one special gal. She woke up to birthday gifts, and lots of loves...
And then Daddy wheeled in her shiny new bike. It was the only thing on her birthday list, and she was so excited to see it!
After a purple waffle breakfast, she spent the day playing play dough with her brothers, and riding her new bike...
Then I took her over to one of our favorite cupcake joints, The Sweet Tooth Fairy, and she picked out a smorgasbord of flavors. The raspberry lemonade one took a little spill and Ry thought it was pretty hilarious...
Blowing out her candles~ can't believe there are 6 of them this year! Eek!
Parker was feeling a little left out, and cried until we sang to him too:)
The next day Rylie was sporting her birthday outfit, new charms on her bracelet, and cruisin' the hood on her new bike. I couldn't help but want a picture...
Hmmm... I don't think the feeling was mutual, but I love this picture. That is my girl, in her sassiest of moments, refusing a picture. She really is an angel...
Some Ry~bug trivia:
Favorite color: Purple (just like her momma~ I had nothing to do with this:)
Favorite food: pizza, chinese chicken, Cafe' Rio sweet pork salads, this girl loves to eat
Favorite place to eat: Maple Gardens and Menchie's
Favorite things to do: ride her bike (she has been riding a two~wheeler since she was 3 years old!), work in the yard and weed the garden, help out in the kitchen, play with her baby dolls, art projects, dance, play soccer, paint her fingernails, shop, be outside.
Favorite holiday: Christmas
Favorite toy: her baby doll Brody, who is almost as big as she is;)
Favorite treat: cotton candy

She loves her family and friends, and is always excited to see them. She is very motherly and loves to help out with her baby cousins. Rylie is a great helper around the house and loves to clean and organize (although her room is always pretty messy:) She is fun, loves to wrestle with her daddy, snuggle with her mommy, and play "george and ali" with her brothers. She is kind hearted, and sweet. She is sassy, and set in her own ways. She is everything we could want in a daughter and sister. Rylie we love you more than anything and hope you never forget it!

Happy birthday sweetheart!

The Bubble Party

It was officially birthday week at our house. A celebration of Kaden's 8th and Rylie's 6th. What in the world can I do to make these kids slow down!? I guess there's nothing left to do but hold on and enjoy every moment~ even the crazy ones! When I caught wind of a bubble party it was love~ what could be better than a night full of family and bubbly fun?
The invitation~
The goodies~

On the menu~ "pop"corn chicken {the Chic~fil~a version}, pasta, and fruit. Easiest meal I've ever had to prepare;) and it was delicious!
The kiddos and the bounce house~ always a good combo!
The "bubble" bucket~ complete with bubbles, bubble wands, bubble pipes, bubble gum, air heads, you get the idea:)
Personalized bubbles~ and blow pops!
And then it was time to get bubbly!!
I whipped up a batch of bubble solution. Recipe here~ the kiddos were all in bubble heaven...
bubble machine, cookie cutters, the possibilities were endless...
And of course, the human bubble was a huge hit~
The opening of the birthday gifts~ I loved how all of the boys hovered around Kade, and the girls around Rylie. It was pretty darn cute, and the kids were spoiled rotten...
The blowing of the birthday candles~ these two are the best of buds.
And the night ended with a "bubble" bath:) Hee hee!
Great fun was had by all~
Happiest birthday wishes Kade and Ry!
We love you two more than words can express.

The Blue Whales

{Note: So apparently, according to Photobucket... I take too many pictures, wha? Sorry about the technical difficulties. Hopefully we are back in business}

Another soccer season, come and gone. I feel like I can't keep up with time lately~ it's gone before I even knew I had it~ if that even makes sense. Rylie made some great strides in soccer this year (she actually kicked the ball!), and had a great time with her Daddy as the coach:)
We were so darn proud of her~
The throw~in...
Way to get in there Rylie! I love the intensity~ ha! She goes about soccer in a pretty girlish manner~ like mother, like daughter.
The sneaky little brother with an insistent sugar craving comin' over to raid the girls' treats. You better believe I gave into him... I dare you to say no to that face!
The cheering section~ best grandparents ever!
Thanks mom, for making me sneak in for one;)
What a game! One last hoor~ah!! Let's go Blue Whales!
The team~
Mariah, Kendal, Rylie, Olivia, and Carly
And the official team picture~
We had so much fun watching these cute girly's play their little hearts out:)
Way to go Blue Whales~ it was a great season!

Preschool Graduation

Our Ry~bug graduated from Miss Bonnie's preschool. She was one lucky girl in having the opportunity to enjoy Miss Bonnie for two years in a row! We all adore her, and couldn't help but be a little sad to see this year end...
Rylie and Miss Bonnie~ she is taking a break from teaching while she has her new little one, and we are sooo going to miss her! She is amazing.
Gramy and Mimi came in full support~ we sure love these gals;)
They had the most darling little class this year. Here are some of Rylie's close friends~
Whitney and Kendal
Brecken~
Livy~Lou
And Easton~ these two are such cute buds:)
Me and my girl. I was so proud of her, she wasn't even nervous this year!
And the remainder of the day was spent playing with these balloons she got to bring home. What a day~ balloons make any day a good one!

It was a fabulous year, and Rylie learned and grew so much.
Next stop~ Kindergarten!
Aaahhh!!!
It better be a looooong summer so I can brace myself:)
